Cancellation Policy

These terms and conditions govern the Palm Harbor Charters LLC Cancellation Policy (the “Cancellation Policy”) available to Renters.

Palm Harbor Charters LLC has a standardized cancellation policy that we will enforce to protect both Renter and Palm Harbor Charters LLC. Each party can cancel at any time. The fee schedule will be determined on when the cancellation occurs in relationship to the reservation dates.

  • Palm Harbor Charters LLC's credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
  • Any reservation can be canceled 5 or more days prior to the rental start in local time (EST) for a full refund excluding credit card processing fees.
  • Cancellations within five (5) days before the start of a rental in local time (EST) are charged a cancellation fee of 15% of the total rental amount and credit card processing fees.

Extenuating Circumstances
If a cancellation must be made outside the above time frames, Palm Harbor Charters LLC. will consider exceptions provided certain extenuating circumstances are shown. For the following extenuating circumstances, the Renter will receive a 100% refund excluding credit card processing fees. To cancel contact us via email info@palmharborcharters.com to provide documentation to support the cancellation. Some examples of acceptable extenuating circumstances

  • A booking is within 150 miles of a named or numbered storm.
  • Safety related cancellations stemming from weather events of lightning, thunderstorms, heavy rain, or heavy wind and you are unable to re-scheduled rental.
  • Natural disaster
  • Political Unrest
  • An issue with the boat that causes your rental to end prematurely and is deemed to be the responsibility of the Palm Harbor Charters LLC, the rental time calculated from rental beginning to the notice to Palm Harbor Charters LLC stating that the vessel is inoperable (the balance of the rental period will be refunded excluding credit card processing fees)
  • If Palm Harbor Charters LLC must cancel due to mechanical issues. Palm Harbor Charters will refund 100%.
